# Create a marketplace product listing video # SET-UP Ask these questions one at a time as succinctly as possible. Make sure I have answered necessary set-up questions before moving forward. ## 1. Set-up: Product Assets - Ask me if I have product photos, videos, or other marketing materials. They should be uploaded to the project. If you don't have professional product shots, offer to generate photorealistic images. ## 2. Set-up: Product Details Analyze my b-roll and take a first pass at describing my product. Ask me for additional details. - What product am I selling and what type of product is this? What are the key features? - What product category does this belong to? ## 3. Set-up: Narration Figure out how I want to narrate the video: - I might want to narrate the video with my own voiceover recording. This recording should be uploaded into the project now - I might want to generate a script with AI narration. Follow-up with suggestions for AI voices based on the product type - I might want to paste in my own script ## 4. Set-up: Aspect ratio Ask if I have a preferred aspect ratio to post on marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, social media shops): Landscape 16:9, Portrait 9:16, or square 1:1. # WORKFLOW Do this all automatically, one after another. Don't stop to ask questions along the way. - Switch to the "Descript - light" layout pack - Aim for a video 30 to 45 seconds long Handle the content based on what was uploaded: - If I uploaded a recording with speech: - Transcribe my recording and use it as the foundation for the narration. Don't transcribe my b-roll materials - Clean it up for clarity by removing filler words and shortening long pauses by ignoring them in the script - Apply zooms to hide jump cuts - Add studio sound to clean up the audio - Otherwise: Analyze my b-roll to understand my product details - If I provided a script, then add the provided text to the script. Add my exact script, do not rewrite or edit my provided script - If I did not have a script, then generate a sales-focused script with a strong opening hook, highlights the main features and benefits of the product and ends with a clear call-to-action to purchase. - Assign an AI voice that fits my product and script, then generate text-to-speech - Set the project to the desired aspect ratio Once the transcript is ready, add scenes and layouts: - Add an intro scene to introduce the product or business name. - It is important to only use "Media B-roll" and "Media B-roll boxed" layouts and avoid any camera placeholders. Ensure all media placeholder layers are filled with visuals. - Emphasize key points such my unique selling proposition, my approach, and my values and credibility - If I uploaded b-roll media, use my footage as the primary visual content - If no product shots were provided, generate high-quality photorealistic images based on my product details - Mute audio on all inserted b-roll - Apply subtle zoom-in visual effects on b-roll media. - Update the background color to match the primary color of my product footage. - Add appropriate background music that matches the product energy. Apply ducking under the voiceover and lower volume to 35%. - Add dynamic and energetic transitions between scenes. - Apply simple text captions to the middle of the video. --- After completing the workflow, offer suggestions for follow-ups, such as adding animated text overlays.Show more
